| The outfitter offers hunting trips ranging from quality drop camps to fully guided in Colorado's White River National Forest and the Flat Tops Wilderness. Their U.S. Forest Service permits cover over 250 square miles and is one of the largest outfitter-permitted areas in Colorado. It is well known as some of the state's best elk, deer and mountain lion country.
This is a full-time professional outfitter. They own their 80 plus head of horses and mules, and operate high quality camps providing their guests with true pack-in horseback elk and deer hunts in wilderness areas where travel is limited to horseback or walking... no roads, no 4-wheel drives, ATV's or motorized travel of any kind is allowed. Lion hunts are on a combination of BLM and private ground using snow machines, ATV's and mules depending on conditions.
Note: On guided hunts the discount is limited to a maximum of two hunters per trip. On drop camp hunts this restriction doesn't apply and the 25% discount applies to everyone in the party.
2012 Specials! 2012 is our outfitter’s 30th anniversary and they are celebrating with these two very special offers.
1) 25% discount for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans on all 2012 hunts for U.S. servicemen and women
who were on active duty in either country during 2011.
2) Kids Hunt Free. Youth hunters aged 12 to 16 hunt free during the first firearm season guided base camp or first rifle season drop camp hunts when accompanied by a parent, grandparent or legal guardian paying regular price. |

Enjoy some of Colorado's finest wilderness area trout fishing... fishing that is only accessible by horseback. Wilderness means no roads, no motorized travel. That, combined with the outfitter's emphasis of catch and release means superb fly fishing (or spinning) for native wild cutthroat, native wild brookies and rainbow trout. Fish guided from Base Camp or Pack-In Camp, or unguided in a pack-in drop camp.
Note: Prices listed are for the 2012 season. |
